Visit Lisbon’s National Tile Museum in the former Madre Deus Convent. Follow Portuguese tile-making from the 15th century to today, then see ceramics, porcelain, a decorated church, cloisters, chapels, gardens, and a café. Allow about 90 minutes to two hours.

Visit Museu Banksy in Lisbon for a self-guided exhibition of more than 100 full-size reproductions, projections, videos, graffiti, and canvases. See works from Banksy’s early years to recent pieces, including Girl with Balloon and Sweep It Under The Carpet. Allow 30 minutes to two hours.

Pastel de Belem are good but not the best though. Belem Tower was covered in scafflding - some would give one star for that. Ha.”
Visit MAAT Gallery and MAAT Central in Lisbon’s Belém district with a one-day ticket. See changing contemporary art, unusual architecture, a 1908 power station, the Electricity Factory exhibit, and the riverside MAAT Garden. Free guided tours are available on site.

Spend two hours at SL Benfica’s Cosme Damião Museum, tracing the club’s story through trophies, players, Portuguese football, and multimedia displays. You can try a match-day penalty simulation and receive a Benfica scarf. The museum is wheelchair accessible and closed on match days.
